Controller and contact

NouPilot is responsible for the service available at noupilot.com and in the NouPilot app. For privacy questions or requests concerning your personal data, email everyone@noupilot.com.

Data we handle

We handle identifiers needed to maintain a guest account or an account connected with Apple. When provided, we also handle your name, email, preferences, profile information, and meal-planning information.

Photos submitted for analysis, estimated results, recorded meals, history, and comments may remain linked to your account so you can follow your routine. We also handle technical access, error, and security records. For subscriptions, we receive information from Apple and the billing service that is needed to verify purchases, restorations, term, and access rights. We do not collect your card details for the free trial.

Purposes and service providers

We use this data to authenticate accounts, perform photo analysis, display records, apply usage limits, validate subscriptions, respond to requests, and protect the service. Analyses are AI-assisted estimates that you should review.

We use Amazon Web Services infrastructure and processing services, as well as Apple purchase services. Submitted photos may be processed by artificial-intelligence services needed to perform the analysis. Provider access is limited to the purposes of the service.

Optional website analytics

If you accept, the website loads Google Analytics 4 to measure page visits and help us improve content and navigation. We may receive the public page visited, with protected query parameters removed, and technical information such as device and browser type. We do not send photos, account data, recorded meals, or app form content to Analytics.

Google acts as the provider of this service. We keep advertising features, Google Signals, User-ID, and cross-domain measurement disabled, and use the shortest available event-data retention period. See the Google Privacy Policy.

Analytics loads only after you accept. Your choice is stored in this browser. You can decline or withdraw consent at any time through “Privacy preferences” in the footer; when disabled, we delete Analytics cookies that we can identify and stop future measurement in this browser.

Retention and deletion

We retain account-linked data while it is needed to provide NouPilot and meet applicable obligations. You can request account deletion in the app. Account deletion does not automatically cancel a subscription managed by Apple; manage that subscription in the App Store. If the in-app request does not complete, contact us at the email above.

Backups, security records, and distribution caches may follow technical retention periods before final deletion. Information that must be retained for legal obligations may remain for the required period.

Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request information, access, correction, portability, or deletion by emailing everyone@noupilot.com. We will review the request and explain the next steps.

Updates

We may update this policy when the service or our data handling changes. The current version and revision date will be published on this page.
